To use the direct integration with Xero, you'll need to link your Xero account to ExpenseIn.

Note: For security reasons, ExpenseIn will never link your ExpenseIn account and Xero account for you. This must be done by an authorised person from your company.

To connect your Xero account to ExpenseIn, follow the steps below:

1. Click the Account Name > Admin.

2. In the Integrations section, click the Accounting subheading.

3. Locate Xero from the available connections list and click the Connect button.

4. You'll be redirected to login.xero.com to authenticate your Xero account.

Note: ExpenseIn will not store or have access to your login credentials for your Xero account.

5. The following screen should display, click Allow Access if you're happy to allow ExpenseIn to access your Xero user information.

6. The following screen should display, click Allow Access if you're happy to proceed and connect ExpenseIn to your Xero organisation.

Note: If you have multiple organisations within your Xero setup, you'll also be asked to select the organisation you want to connect to at this point.

7. Go back to the Accounting page to ensure the Xero integration has a Connected status.

Once the status displays as Connected, you can use the direct integration to post expenses and invoices to Xero.

If you have any further questions or have any issues connecting the Xero integration, contact our Support team via Live Chat or by emailing support@expensein.com.
