If you have multiple custom fields set up for an area in ExpenseIn, an Account Administrator can change the order of how the custom fields display in that area.
How to reorder custom fields
To reorder the display of a group of custom fields set up for an area in ExpenseIn, follow the steps below:
1. Click the Account Name > Admin.
2. In the Advanced section, click the Custom Fields subheading.
3. Click the Reorder button next to the relevant group of custom fields.
4. Click and hold the drag and drop icon to move and change the order of how the custom fields display.
5. Click Update.
How to view the reordered custom fields
Once you've reordered a group of custom fields set up for an area, the new order will display in the custom field screen.
To view your changes in the area of ExpenseIn the custom fields are set up for, you must navigate to the relevant area to see the order display change.
E.g. If you've reordered the custom fields set up on all expenses, create a new expense to see the order of the custom fields.
Note: You can't reorder the display of existing fields in each area of ExpenseIn, you can only reorder a group of custom fields set up for an area.
