You can add your Physical or Virtual Expense Card to your Google Wallet, giving you additional ways to complete transactions.
Prerequisites
Before adding your Expense Card to your Google Wallet, you must complete the following prerequisites:
Ensure your Expense Card has been activated.
Ensure that your Billing Address stored in ExpenseIn is correct.
Note: You can review your Billing Address under My Cards in ExpenseIn; if it's incorrect, please contact your company's Expense or Finance team.
How to add your Expense Card to Google Wallet using the ExpenseIn mobile app
Once successfully logged into the ExpenseIn mobile app, follow the steps below to add your Expense Card to your Google Wallet:
1. Tap the three-bar menu in the top left corner of the screen.
2. Tap My Cards found under the Cards heading.
Note: To access this section, you must complete the secondary authentication step using the authorisation method enabled on your device, e.g. entering your PIN or using biometrics.
3. Tap Add to Google Wallet underneath the Expense Card you'd like to add.
4. Tap Add to Wallet at the bottom of the screen.
5. Confirm that your billing address matches the 'Billing Address' stored in the My Cards section of the ExpenseIn web portal, and tap Continue.
Note: Tap the Edit icon to amend the billing address stored on your device if it's incorrect.
6. Tap More at the bottom of the screen to view more information and progress to the next step.
7. Tap Accept at the bottom of the screen to accept the Issuer terms.
8. Tap View in Wallet to open the Google Wallet app and view your saved Expense Card.
Once the card has been added to Google Wallet, it's ready to use with Google Pay.
How to add your Expense Card to Google Wallet using the Google Wallet app
To add your Expense Card to your Google Wallet from within the Google Wallet app, follow the steps below:
1. On your device, open the Google Wallet app.
2. Tap the + icon or Add to Wallet at the bottom of the screen.
3. Tap Payment Card, then tap New credit or debit card.
4. To enter your card details, either scan it using your device's camera or tap Enter details manually.
5. Tap Save and Continue and follow the on-screen instructions to add your card to your Google Wallet. You may need to verify the card, e.g., via a One-Time Passcode (OTP), to complete the process.
Once the card has been added to Google Wallet and verified, it's ready to use with Google Pay.
Note: Ensure that the card's billing address in Google Wallet matches the Billing Address stored in ExpenseIn to ensure transactions can be completed successfully.
