Why does the mobile app take me back to the home screen when trying to upload a receipt?

Learn why after tapping Done on the ExpenseIn mobile app, you are taken back to the home screen without the Receipt Saved message appearing.

If you're using an Android device, the reason you're unable to save a picture of your receipt is a result of your device settings.

To check your device settings, go to Developer options > Applications and ensure Don’t keep activities is set to off

If you're still unable to save an image of your receipt after updating your mobile device settings, or if you are not using an Android device, contact our Support team via support@expensein.com.
