You can set up an SFTP outbound file delivery option from the Integrations section of the Admin area, which will allow Finance users to send file exports to your company's SFTP site.
Note: We recommend that a member of your company's IT team complete the steps when setting up or editing an SFTP outbound file delivery.
How to edit an SFTP outbound file delivery
To edit an existing SFTP outbound file delivery destination, follow the steps below:
1. Click the Account Name > Admin.
2. In the Integrations section, click the File Delivery subheading.
3. Click the Edit icon next to the existing SFTP outbound file delivery, or click the three dots icon and select Configure from the drop-down.
4. Enter the new details for your outbound file delivery target in the pop-up window.
Name - edit the display name you want to use for this outbound file delivery.
Notification Email - edit or add an email address for delivery notifications of sent exported files to your company's SFTP site.
URL (including any subdirectories) - edit the fully qualified SFTP URL, including any subdomains. E.g. sftp://test.mydomain.com/files/expensein.
Note: The URL can include a custom port number if required.
Username - edit the username required to connect to your SFTP server.
Password - enter the correct password (for the username you entered) to complete the connection to your SFTP server.
Confirm Password - enter the same password for confirmation.
5. Click Update to update the SFTP file delivery details.
A confirmation message will display to confirm the SFTP outbound file delivery option has been updated and Finance users can continue to select this destination when exporting expenses, invoices and purchase requests to file.
