Redirect approval

Learn how to redirect expenses awaiting your approval to a different Approval Flow.

As an approver, you may be able to redirect the approval of a user's submitted expenses to a different Approval Flow, if this option has been enabled by your Account Administrator.

If the Redirect Approval buttons are not visible to you, please speak to a member of your Finance team and ask them to enable this option for Approvers in your company.

Note: You can only redirect expenses awaiting approval via the web portal.

How to redirect expenses awaiting approval

Follow the steps below to redirect the Approval Flow for expenses awaiting approval:

1. Go to Approval > Awaiting Approval (under the Approval heading).

2. Click on a user's name to expand their expenses, and locate the expenses you'd like to redirect.

3. Tick the checkboxes next to the expenses you want to redirect.

4. Click the Actions button and select Redirect Approval.

Note: You can also redirect the approval for individual users or expenses by clicking the three dots icon next to the user's name or the expense, and selecting Redirect Approval from the drop-down.

5. Select the Approval Flow from the drop-down list that you want to redirect the expense(s) to.

6. Click Continue to move the selected expenses to the other Approval Flow.
