Edit or delete existing mileage

Learn how to edit or delete existing mileage from the Admin area.

If existing mileage was entered incorrectly or is no longer required in ExpenseIn, an Account Administrator can edit or delete the existing mileage from the Admin area.

Note:

  • When editing existing mileage, you're not able to change the user or tax year. If this information is incorrect, you need to delete the existing mileage record and add it again.

  • If you have a lot of existing mileage that needs updating, you can import existing mileage data using the import tool rather than editing each user's existing mileage individually.

How to edit existing mileage

To edit existing mileage for a user, follow the steps below:

1. Click the Account Name > Admin.

2. In the Advanced section, click the Existing Mileage subheading.

3. Click the Edit icon next to the relevant existing mileage record, or click the three dots icon and select Edit from the drop-down.

4. Enter the new existing mileage amount for the user.

5. Click Update.

How to delete existing mileage

To delete existing mileage for a user, follow the steps below:

1. Click the Account Name > Admin.

2. In the Advanced section, click the Existing Mileage subheading.

3. Click the three dots icon next to the relevant existing mileage record and select Delete from the drop-down.

Note: To delete multiple existing mileage records, tick the checkboxes next to each existing mileage, then click Actions and select Delete from the drop-down.

4. Click Continue on the pop-up window to confirm the deletion of the selected existing mileage record(s).
