Edit a supplier

How to edit a supplier in the invoicing module.

Finance Users can edit supplier records in the invoicing module from the Invoicing Finance area. You can either edit suppliers individually or import updates for bulk changes.

Please Note: To edit a supplier's invoice policy or approval flow, ensure these are created beforehand.

1. Go to Invoicing > Finance area.

2. Find the supplier you wish to edit in the Suppliers section. Use the available Filter options to locate the supplier.

3. Click Edit on the right-hand side of the supplier record to open the Edit Supplier box.

4. Make your required changes:

  • Name: The supplier's name.

  • Reference: Should match the supplier reference in your accountancy package.

  • Payment Method: How you pay the supplier's invoices.

  • Payment Terms (days): Number of days you have to pay the supplier's invoice.

  • VAT Number: The supplier's VAT number.

  • Invoice Policy: Select the applicable policy for this supplier.

  • Approval Flow: Select the approval flow for this supplier.

  • Account Number / IBAN: The supplier's bank account number.

  • Sort Code: The supplier's sort code.

5. Tick or untick the Active box to mark a supplier as active or inactive.

Please Note: Invoices can only be raised against active suppliers.

6. Review your changes and click Update.
