Additional Settings: Approval tab

Learn about the settings available under the Approval tab in the Additional Settings area.

An Account Administrator can view, enable, or disable Additional Settings for the account from the Admin area.

See below for more information on the additional settings available for Approvers using the Approval area. You can also hover over the red question mark icons to remind you what each setting is for.

Approval tab

  • Approvers can redirect approval - approvers can redirect expenses awaiting their approval to another approval flow.

  • Show all options to approvers (edit mode only) - approvers who are able to edit expenses awaiting their approval have full visibility of all departments, VAT rates, projects and categories, regardless of the visibility settings within Admin.

  • Notify previous approvers when expenses rejected - when an expense is rejected by an Approver or Finance user, any previous approvers in the approval flow will receive an email notification.

  • Approvers can set out of office - approvers can use the out of office feature to delegate their approvals to another user when they're away and unable to fulfil their approval responsibility.
