There may be occasions where you need to deactivate your card (e.g. you're not planning to use it for a certain timeframe). You can deactivate your Expense Card via the ExpenseIn web portal or mobile app.
Note: If you have a Virtual Expense Card that has an Active Date Range or has been set up for single use, the card will automatically deactivate when those conditions are met.
To manually deactivate your Expense Card, follow the steps below:
1. Go to the Cards module and click My Cards.
2. In the Cards section, click the three dots icon against the card you'd like to deactivate and select Deactivate from the drop-down.
3. Click Continue in the confirmation window to confirm you'd like to deactivate your card.
4. A banner will appear at the top of the screen to confirm your card has been deactivated and a yellow Inactive label will display against the card.
Note: A confirmation email will also be sent to your registered ExpenseIn email address.
Before you can use your Expense Card for any purchases going forward, you'll need to reactivate your card.
