Subscription Cards are virtual payment cards designed to help manage recurring payments, digital spending and supplier subscriptions. They allow these expenses to be handled separately from employee expenses.

What can a Subscription Card be used for?

Subscription Cards can be used for:

  • Online merchants e.g., AWS, Zoom, Slack, LinkedIn, Microsoft and Google.

  • Supplier invoice payments

  • Any other recurring payments that you'd like to manage independently.

Who is the owner of a Subscription Card?

Subscription Cards are issued to your company, however each card is assigned a specific owner who is responsible for the supplier payment.

Can the owner of a Subscription Card be changed?

The Subscription Card owner can be changed at any time. If an employee leaves the company, you can just reassign the card to ensure recurring payments continue uninterrupted, without issuing a new card.

Can spending on a Subscription Card be controlled?

Spending on Subscription Cards can be controlled, like with Expense Cards, you can set:

  • Merchant Category restrictions

  • Merchant Country restrictions

  • Allowed Spending Days

  • Spending Limits

Do Subscription Card payments create draft expenses for the owner?

Draft expenses are not created for the owner of the Subscription Card. Reconciliation should be managed via the Transactions section in the ExpenseIn Cards module.
